The MILA claw clip is the quintessential 'Kaleidoscopics' shape, inspired by the beauty and diversity of form. The name Kaleidoscope comes from ancient Greek and literally means “the observation of beautiful forms” – an idea at the heart of CLINQ EDITION #19. Its sculptural silhouette reveals new facets depending on perspective, creating a distinctive and contemporary look. Designed to hold the hair securely, MILA combines expressive form with everyday functionality.
Lightness is an essential element of CLINQ – made of ultralight steel, our claw clips are sturdy yet nearly weightless, so they can contain a lot of hair without pulling or putting a strain on it.
While we collaborate with regional specialists for precision laser-cutting, mirror polishing, and plating, the true transformation happens in our Berlin studio. Flat pieces of stainless steel are carefully assembled, folded, and shaped into a three-dimensional form using our custom-engineered tools. Every piece is tested and finished by hand, step by step, piece by piece ensuring both beauty and durability.
