AREA has a presence. Handcrafted from mirror-polished stainless steel, the bold sculptural form of our claw clip AREA turns a functional object into a unique piece of hair jewellery.
Made from ultralight steel, the clip is sturdy yet nearly weightless—designed to hold even thick hair comfortably without pulling or strain.
While we collaborate with regional specialists for precision laser-cutting, mirror polishing, and plating, the true transformation happens in our Berlin studio. Flat pieces of stainless steel are carefully assembled, folded, and shaped into a three-dimensional form using our custom-engineered tools. Every piece is tested and finished by hand, step by step, piece by piece ensuring both beauty and durability.
